Slovakia Welcomes 2018-2019 U.S. Fulbright Exchange Particpants

DCM Natasha Franceschi welcomed ten incoming Fulbright Exchange participants to Slovakia at a reception hosted by the Fulbright Commission in Slovakia on September 12. Franceshi highlighted the Fulbright exchange program as the “tool of first resort” for building people to people ties and fostering academic exchange, while thanking the Slovak government and partners in the Ministry of Education for their longstanding support for the program. Slovakia will host nine English Teaching Assistants (ETA), one lecturer, and one researcher in academic year 2018-2019 while Slovakia will send eleven scholars and teachers to the United States.
