Slovak Government, U.S. Troops Team Up to Highlight NATO

U.S. troops transiting western Slovakia teamed up with Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Foreign Affairs representatives to highlight the importance of NATO for high school students on Thursday, September 20. The Slovak MOD invited students from the western Slovak town of Malacky onto Kuchyna Airfield to meet and greet U.S. soldiers and view their Stryker fighting vehicles. A Slovak MFA representative gave a talk on the importance of NATO for Slovak national security, saying “it’s great that we have twenty-eight friends ready to stand with us in the event something happens.”
