In conjunction with International Education Week, the Embassy traveled to Banska Bystrica to hold our fifth annual GoUSA! fair at a popular local shopping mall, where we attracted approximately 400 guests interested in learning more about opportunities to study, work, and travel in the United States. Representatives from the Public Affairs Section (PAS), the Consular Section, and the Fulbright Commission staffed booths where they shared information and answered guests’ questions. Nine travel agencies and organizations also offered information about their programs for work and study in the U.S. The Embassy also displayed the winning entries from a Facebook contest of Summer Work and Travel Photos submitted by almost 100 students who worked in the U.S. last summer.
