Former NASA Astronaut Mary Weber Visits Slovakia

Former NASA Astronaut Mary Ellen Weber spent a week in Slovakia on a speaking tour for students, science enthusiasts, and the general public.  Weber flew on space shuttle missions STS-70 and STS-101, spending a total of nineteen days in space. In Bratislava, she gave the keynote address at European Researcher’s Night for hundreds of future scientists at the Old Market.  She also lectured to university students at Technical University Kosice and Technical University Bratislava, high school students at a planetarium in Ziar nad Hronom and in Poprad.  Watch her interview on TV Markiza’s Telerano and TV Kosice Dnes.
