Similarly to last weekend, the U.S. Embassy would like to advise of potential demonstrations that may impact the community.

Event:  Protest for Referendum And Early Elections

When: Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 13:00 – 16:00

Where: Central Bratislava: Namestie Slobody and Hodzovo Namestie

Expected number of participants: Approximately 1000-3000

Actions to Take:

– Avoid areas of demonstrations and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings or protests.

– Remain proactive and pay attention to your surroundings.

– Keep a low profile.

– Monitor local media for updates: Slovak Spectator is a local English language newspaper; Radio RSI is a radio station with some English language reporting.
