Members of the U.S. Embassy community Adrian and Karla Patrascu cooked Tex-Mex food April 20 on Slovakia’s most-watched national morning program, “Telerano.” They enjoyed sharing this typical cuisine from Texas with Slovaks. They prepared carne guisada, tortillas, guacamole, and cebollas encurtidas. They also made Mexican rice, using Karla’s mother’s recipe.
